Between the 26th and 27th of July, Eastbridge Hospital and the Franciscan Gardens will be fortunate enough to be hosting a visit of the attending members of the Lambeth Conference. Across these two days, both sites will be shut to the public.

The Lambeth Conference is convened by the Archbishop of Canterbury once every decade, gathering bishops from across the Anglican world to join together in reflection and prayer. The theme for the conference this year is “God’s Church for God’s World- walking, listening and witnessing together”. The conference will last from the 26th of July to the 8th of August, meeting at various sites across Canterbury. For more information on the Lambeth Conference, visit their official website: https://www.lambethconference.org/

Eastbridge Hospital and the Franciscan Gardens will once more reopen after the 26th and 27th of July.
